While doing my morning jog before the break of dawn I was
reminded of just how loving God is. God
has the ability to shine so bright that it could be blinding. Yet that is not the way light is
released. As I watched the day break,
the sun slowly eased into peak light.
With control and discipline God bought forth light...brighter and brighter. Just like the gentle day break God slowly
reveals his truth. Not so much that we
are blinded, but slowly enough for us to adjust to the change that is taking
place. What a loving and gentle God we
serve!
We should use the tender and loving nature of the break of
dawn as a template for the way in which we emit truth and light in life. Truth shouldn’t blind others, but shines to
lead the way to living life more abundantly.
Meet people in the mist of darkness and begin to release a
light that is helpful and that can be applicable to the current need. Remember anointing is transferrable. Before you know it all will be basking in the
glow of our wonderful creator.
Read Isaiah 61 today and know that all is well. Be
