Spring is in the air and blooms are everywhere. For many it also the start of the pesky allergy season. Uncontrollable sneezing, itchy red eyes, and drippy nose can sometimes hinder us from fully enjoying full luster of spring.

Before you head to the local drugstore for the plethora of meds, give holistic remedies a try.

Natural Remedies To Combat Allergies

Give allergies the one-two punch with healing foods and herbs.

Relief can be as simple as a bit of raw honey in cup of warm water with two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar.  Other herbal remedies are teas (chamomile, elderflower, peppermint, and turmeric) are a few of my favorites.

For the stuffy nose try aromatherapy.  Lavender oil mixed with a light carrier oil can be used to gently massage the chest. For healing mucus you can apply a drop of eucalyptus oil on an organic cotton ball and sniff it several times a day.
