Be The Change
“The work of community, love, reconciliation, restoration is
the work we cannot leave up to politicians. This is the work we are all called
to do.” Shane Claiborne
2024 is a historic election year, with elections in 50
countries. More than 2 billion voters will head to the polls in countries
including the United States, India, Mexico and South Africa. Elections have influence on our global
society, but the society itself belongs to the collective. Collective action plays a vital role in civil
society, allowing individuals to work together for common purposes. All over the world we are seeing grassroot
efforts to build post global pandemic societies.
Together we are fighting on many fronts. Labor, climate action, healthcare reform,
education reform, anti-war, gun reform, and technology advances. Addressing these challenges requires
collective action and global cooperation. Building partnerships across
organizations, local governments, and stakeholders strengthens community
action.

to greater opportunity.
