Illuminated Living: A Letter From The Founder

Hello and Welcome –

Thank you for taking the time to stop by Illuminated Living. Where my aim is for you to leave better than when you came. Very briefly a little bit about me, you will learn more as we engage on a daily basis. I am a married mother of two daughters who are my life’s joy. I am a college graduate that has worked in various corporate financial capacities most of my life as well as owned my own companies. A few causes that are close to my heart are literacy, nutrition and wellness, protection for domestic abuse victims, and child advocacy just to name a few.

One day I read Ephesians 5: 8-17 and it became a call to action for me.

The intent of Illuminated living is to share good news you can use. In addition we will highlight Bright Lights in the universal community who are being of service for the common good of mankind. Illuminated Living is a place where we shine light on issues and causes that affect us all. Illuminated Living functions as a conduit that connects people with the resources needed to lead an illuminated life.

There is so much negativity and bad news on a daily basis I wanted to have a place that people could stop in and be uplifted, informed, and inspired. I selected the name Illuminated Living because for every act of darkness we can and should counter it with a source of light and that is what I want to speak to each day.

What I Believe

One God in three persons - God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit;

One way of salvation - Jesus Christ, through His virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death, and victorious resurrection, made it possible for man to be saved by faith;

One book - the Bible, God’s written revelation to man;

One body - with many parts, the church.

These statements are based on Christian beliefs. I do not promote or endorse any particular denomination.

I understand that each person is bound by their own personal truth. The above is my belief and from the perspective in which I write to you daily. I believe in one true authority, and we are all students. We are students of life seeking knowledge, applying wisdom, and making better choices daily.
