Accentuate the Positive to Eliminate the Negative

Have you ever had to deal with a fault finding personality type?  You know the type of person that no matter what you do right, they will find a million and one reasons why it is wrong?

Faultfinding is one of the most typical ways that bad spirit shows up in life and in relationships. There is nothing wrong with legitimate criticism or input in a relationship. There is nothing wrong when one party complains about the actions or attitudes of another, if that complaint is designed to improve the relationship. But constructive criticism too often gives way to constant faultfinding, in which you obsess over the flaws and imperfections rather than find value. (Dr. Phil, Are You a Faultfinder?)

"It is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness."

In a world where everyone is moving at 100 mph, and often not taking the time to connect with one another on a heart to heart level it is imperative that we must find creative ways accentuate the positive in others.

CHALLENGE
Here is a random act of kindness idea.  Surprise those in your organization that you normally correspond with strictly for business with little note of appreciation. You can use the Bcc line for mass distribution.  Below is some sample language.
Subject Line: You Are Doing a Great Job
If no one has told you this week, you are doing a great job!  Your efforts are appreciated and valued by many even if isn’t always expressed.  Keep up the good work!!
I just wanted to share a little love and appreciation.
Random Act of Kindness moment!

Remember, for every act of darkness we can find or be a source of light…
