God’s Unique Image of You

I am just someone trying to define my lane. I am not looking to drive in yours, and I have no interest in your car.  I am sweeping around my own front door, so I have no time to lounge around your house talking about lack.  I am raising my children to walk in to their unique destinies, which does not include competing with your son or daughter.

The purpose I am fulfilling is predestined just for me, not that I don’t enjoy your company, but through rose colored glasses I do not see.  I can applaud your achievements because that is your personal best.  The highlighting you will bring to the forefront the potential that lies within, if we just believe in us and be our own best friend.   Community is not defined by everybody doing the same thing the same way.  It is respecting our differences, and using all the various gifts for the greater good of all mankind.

If I put all my energy into trying to obtain what you have or look like you; I am life wasted in duplicativeness. Be the missing piece of life’s puzzle.  Complete in your uniqueness, but just right for the perfect design.  We were created in God’s image therefore that is the only person you should see when you look at me.

Coveting is like being a hamster on a wheel going around and around but remaining in the same spot.  We need to be like Ezekiel and see the wheel within the middle of wheel, and trust God to make a way out of no way.

The world is waiting to hear from you, not repeat of what someone else has done before.  Let your light shine for the entire world to see, showing what can be accomplished when you give God all the glory.
