It has only taken 40 years for the internet to reform our culture. The internet has changed every aspect of our lives. Much of the changes on the onset seemed gradual, but as you well know by know by now there is nothing gradual about the internet.

The recent news of former NSA employee and whistleblower, Edward Snowden, has given a boost to dialogues surrounding
surveillance. Many experts in the field
of internet security believe there is no such thing as “privacy”. For those that believe in privacy, it is
broken down into two categories: privacy can entail either Personally
Identifying Information (PII) or non-PII information such as a site visitor's
behavior on a website.
