Stronger Than The Day Before

Living Well

Are there times you feel like giving up? Tired of the fight? I say OK, I hear you and at times I feel the same way, but we can't afford to throw in the towel. In a workout you should feel as if you have pushed your body, but not to the point of complete fatigue.  You will want to put forth an effort and step outside of your normal comfort zone.  When I say "Exhaustion leads to strength" what I mean is you should feel as if you had a workout and as if you are growing stronger.  Energy should be expended and the next day you should be able to tolerate a little  more.  The goal is to be a bit stronger than the day before.

If you are feeling extreme post-workout fatigue, Eugenie Jones, Certified personal trainer and fitness instructor says it could possibly be contributed to four things.
  • Not Getting Enough Sleep
  • Inadequate Recovery
  • Lack of Fuel
  • Dehydration
