Walking The Illuminated Path
Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails. ~ Proverbs 19:21
The above verse is one of my favorites. It is a living word that I hide in my heart on days when things seem to not go the way I intended.
I really missed talking and sharing with you. It was nice to relax and recharge, but now its time to get back to work. I was speaking to my mom yesterday about purpose. Many of us look forward to retirement thinking its time to kick up our heels and hang our hats. True life purpose doesn't work that way. We may change locations, or do things at a different pace, but we will always be purpose in motion. Joy comes when you realize you are right where you should be... doing what you were destined to do. Rest is actually your strength being renewed by the one that created you.
