This week my daughter accidently hit the demo mode on our Samsung refrigerator. Some might say that’s not a big deal, but I wasn’t familiar with all the controls on my new fancy refrigerator. As I stood in a puddle of water with groceries melting I needed help quick.  Should I have read the manual? Probably, but I needed a quick fix.  That is where the experts of YouTube came into play.  I was able to troubleshoot the problem and avoid what could have been a costly mistake. Whew!

If you look around your home I am sure you will notice simple home appliances are getting more and more technology sophistication.  A recent survey conducted by ERA Real Estate in conjunction with HGTV's "Under the Roof" national focus group indicated that consumers of all generations value smart technology features in both current and future homes.
