Walking The Illuminated Path
“And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal
life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does
not have the Son of God does not have the life. These things I have written to
you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you
have eternal life.” ~ 1 John 5:11-13
A Promise I Can Be Sure Of
The promise of eternal life mentioned in 1 John is assurance
of the life we have when we stay in relationship with our Heavenly Father. When you have faith in God’s word it becomes
living water in your life. It quenches your thirst and supplies all of your
needs. As believers we must immerse ourselves in the promises of scripture.

times of trouble. It should spur you to respond differently to life’s
challenges. The sword of the spirit “which is the word of God” is our offensive

Be sure of the promises of God, and allow God to take the lead
in your life.
