5 Things That Hinder Us From Making Healthy Choices


Lack of Planning – When we fail to plan, then plan to fail. This is true when it comes to healthy nutrition. We have to put thought into what we shop for and what we consume. Make healthy choices easily accessible and you will be more likely to make the right choice.

Stress – Emotional eating, Stress Eating, Comfort Foods…We all do it from time to time.  It scientifically proven that you crave rich foods when stress is unrelenting.  Combat stress eating by having an healthy outlet to relieve stress.

Laziness – Eating junk food makes you feel tired and lazy. The moment you make the choice to choose something unhealthy vs. something nutritious you begin the battle with laziness. Give you your body the proper nourishment and you will have to energy needed to lead a healthy lifestyle.

Uninformed – To be perfectly honest with the deceptive practices of the food industry we don’t always know if we are making the right choice. Educate yourself about the food you consume, and when you learn better do better.

Addiction – Fatty foods, sugar, and salty foods are highly addictive. Food addiction is a very serious problem and one of the main reasons some people just can’t control themselves around certain foods, no matter how hard they try. Seek professional help if you feel you have become addicted unhealthy foods.
