Police brutality reared its ugly head again over the weekend
in McKinney, TX. A veteran white police
officer arrives to the scene of a disturbance at pool party. The scene erupts
in violence as the officer wrestles and unarmed bikini clad black female to the
ground.
A video
taken by a one of the teenagers at the pool party surfaced and lead to the
officer being placed on administrative leave. Monday protestors assembled in
the area calling for the firing of the officer. Read More via The

Until we remove blinders and see police brutality for the evil
that it is nothing will change. The abuse of power and disregard for human life
is a grave injustice and has become one the defining fights of our generation.
We cannot afford to be silent when our children are dying.

Calling for police reform does not make you anti-police. Right
now we have chaos and disorder exploding all over our nation. The police play a
pivotal role in society; they enforce laws, restore order, and keep the peace.
It is all of our responsibility to hold law enforcement accountable and combat
corruption.
