The wrong mindset will lead you to believe…

• All hope is lost
• There is a reason to fear
• It will never get better
• People are evil
• You are not enough
• There is no time
• Days will only grow darker
• Good Fortune is reserved for others

Don’t believe the lie! If you would take a moment to honestly reflect with an open heart the truth will reveal itself. You will begin to realize that in the midst of it all something has kept you whole, you find reasons to smile, you faced adversity with courage, strangers extend kindness to you, and things have worked to your favor. That something is love, love that only a heavenly father gives. Life is brimming with evidence of cosmic collisions bringing light our way. We don't have to look any further than Genesis 1 for proof.  To see the light we have to get our minds right.

“Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” ~ Psalm 51:10

We must constantly pray to have the right mindset. Seek to recognize the good and what is right in all situations. To deny the hand of God in our lives is not only a sin, but a wedge in our relationship with giver of life.

Change Your Mind

When you change your mind, you change your life. A renewed mind can not only change your life it can change the world. Negative or positive all thoughts have power. It takes the right mindset to have freedom, and know what to do with it. The Apostle Paul in Romans 8:6 says, “For to carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace”.

“Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” In order to set my affection, I must have the proper mindset and this simply means that I’m keeping God, people, and things of this world in their proper place in my mind.
