Bright Light | Hannah Brencher

Meet Hannah Brencher, Founder of The World Needs More Love Letters

In 2010, then 22 year old Hannah Brencher began writing letters to strangers as a way to cope with her own depression.

Hannah Brencher's mother always wrote her letters. So when she felt herself bottom into depression after college, she did what felt natural -- she wrote love letters and left them for strangers to find. The act has become a global initiative, The World Needs More Love Letters, which rushes handwritten letters to those in need of a boost. Hannah Brencher believes in the power of pen and paper, and has started a global initiative that encourages strangers to exchange love letters. via TED TALK

Hannah Brencher embodies the spirit of Illuminated Living.  She embodies the spirit of service.  Hannah is the type of person I love to highlight. Her story exemplifies what we all can do if we just allow our hearts to be the guide.  If we just allow love to lead.  We can begin with just a seed of faith, and before long the glow of love takes over and we become beacons of light in every dark place.

Hannah has established a platform for each of us to join in her crusade to spread love in a mighty way. Visit More Love Letters and shine light to someone that is in need of a friend.
