Getting To The Heart of the Issue

Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. ~ Psalm 37:4

Many times in life people get frustrated and sometimes down right angry because they feel their desires are going unfulfilled. Could it be that your desires are not aligned with the word of God?  Psalm 37:4 starts with "TAKE DELIGHT IN THE LORD".  That could be the missing key to unlock every door in your life.  Read on to Psalms 84:11 it states, "For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless."

Have you ever wondered why God cares so much about the heart of a person? Out of our heart flows our truest intentions in life. (People often say in passing, "God knows my heart") usually when they have wronged someone. Go figure! We should be mindful of the fact that God really does know our hearts,  which why he is constantly breaking and molding us. God wants his way and his love to be our one true hearts desire. You can fool your fellow man, but you will never out smart the one who gave you the heart beat.

Have faith and surrender your will. God's blessings are everlasting, and his love is given to change you for the better. Stop repeating the same cycles in life. Align your will with God's perfect will.
