Saturday, July 20th communities all over the U.S. are uniting to rally for justice.

(CNN) -- The parents of Trayvon Martin joined thousands of Americans at more than 100 scheduled vigils in cities nationwide demanding Saturday what they described as justice for their 17-year-old son, who was shot dead last year. Read More here .
The stand your ground laws in two dozen states around the country have come under national scrutiny in the wake of last week’s acquittal of Zimmerman. In addition there is a call for the Justice Department to review the case.

Clearly there is an uphill battle ahead but it is encouraging to see so many communities engaging and coming together for a change for the better.
