Living A Committed Life

Walking The Illuminated Path

Commitment

Total commitment to God means that Jesus is our sole authority, our guiding light. If God calls you to it you can bet you are equipped to do it.  One of my favorite verses is Philippians 4:13, “I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”  We must remain committed to doing the right thing.

Commitment is needed in every area of our lives. Commitment is the key ingredient in a recipe for success.

Commitment Mindset

Commitment requires a shift in your mindset.  You must adopt a champion spirit. Being interested in something is not the same as being committed to it.  If you are committed understand that you will be taken out of your comfort zone and pushed to limit. You will face obstacles and possible setbacks. Are you up for challenge? Do you want it bad enough?

5 Key Components of Commitment

  • Prayer
  • Defined Vision
  • Daily Action
  • A Strong Network
  • Keeping Your Commitment As A Priority

The greatest commitment you will ever make is your commitment to follow God. All the fruit of your life comes from your relationship with God. Spiritual growth and intimacy with God is a lifelong process one that will requires total commitment.

Affirmation! I can do all that God said I can do. I can be what he has called me to be. Daily commitment to my purpose makes every day better.
