point of headlining concerts to benefit battered women’s shelters and Indian
Rural Development Programs and raising funds for the American Red Cross in the
wake of superstorm Sandy. His biggest project to date was his summer World Tour
For Charity, a five-stop global circuit with profits earmarked to help Habitat

Kendrick Lamar is indeed a voice of generation and shining
example of talent and heart. He exhibits the spirit and change that we need
more of in our country. In my opinion the award is well deserved.
