Fences, Gates, and Walls don't necessarily signify anything of value within, or lesser value on the outside. Character and worth must first be established in the heart. Separation, bigotry, prejudice, oppression are all byproducts of fear. Fear of what would happen if two worlds collided. Frightful of the bridges and pathways that only freedom can bring. 

Confinement has a purpose, but we shouldn't be confined in our thinking.

We should ask ourselves...What are you locking in? What are you keeping out?
