Engaged Nation

Importance of Civic Engagement

Civic engagement is the lifeblood of a functioning democracy. It empowers individuals, strengthens communities, and ensures that the government remains accountable and responsive to the people it serves.

Practical ways to get involved in your community and contribute to civic engagement are: Voting, Volunteering, Advocating and Campaigning, Run for Office, Attend Public Meeting, and continuous Civic Education.
