Motivational Minute
Often times when looking to change behaviors or accomplish new goals we begin with restrictive lists of can’t do’s and not have’s. What if we tried positive reinforcement? Assess the things that we are doing right and that are aligned with our desired outcome. Start doing more the good things and less of the negative. Soon you just may have established a positive lifestyle change. A lifestyle change is more sustainable to than moments of restriction.
Practicing Positive Reinforcement
Praise – Celebrate the things you are doing right.Recognize – Be aware of what is working or not working. Course correct.
Appreciate – Value where you are and what you are doing. Practice gratitude.
Positive reinforcement helps us to operate in the good, be a bit kinder with ourselves and others.
