What's Going On In the World of Tech?

Technology

Quote of the Day (Internet)

“The Internet is like alcohol in some sense. It accentuates what you would do anyway. If you want to be a loner, you can be more alone. If you want to connect, it makes it easier to connect.” ― Esther Dyson

Talking Technology is curated content by Illuminated Living shared each week on Tuesdays. I chose curated content as the format for the technology segment because technology is not my specialty, but I feel it is important to stay abreast of leading innovations.

Technology Term of the Day "Net Neutrality"

Definition: Simply put, net neutrality is a network design paradigm that argues for broadband network providers to be completely detached from what information is sent over their networks.  In essence, it argues that no bit of information should be prioritized over another.  This principle implies that an information network such as the internet is most efficient and useful to the public when it is less focused on a particular audience and instead attentive to multiple users.
